      I taught the basics of French, Spanish, and German to the 1st through 5th grade Talented and Gifted (TAG) students in Newport News. I traveled to different schools each week serving the students and exposed them to foreign languages to spark their interest early on before taking a language full-time in middle school.

      While traveling in France for the summer, I was interviewed after attending a showing of a controversial French comedy. My comments were selected to be aired on France-Soir television.
